My family and I moved to the Shawnee area
in October 2007 to follow the Lord’s calling for me to be the pastor of
FBCS. From 1996-2007, I served in a similar role in Wichita, KS and
prior to that as an associate pastor in Bella Vista, AR. I enjoy leading
God’s people to study the Bible so as to more fully understand who He
is, what He has done for us and then His purposes. In May 2009 I
completed the Doctor of Ministry degree from Midwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary in which I focused on leadership development within
the local church.
Leesa and I were married in Kansas City 27 years ago and have four
children.. We are also now very much enjoying the new role of being
proud grandparents. I enjoy working with my hands in doing projects
around the house and can occasionally be persuaded to play a round of
golf. |
