I was raised here in Kansas City and
graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School. Though I gave my life
to Christ at the young age of five, I fell away during my teen years. It
was not until I reached a crisis point in my life that I turned back to
God and was given a burden to minister to youth so that they would not
have to travel the path I had already been down.
For over twenty-five years, I have worked with youth as a track coach,
tutor, Big Brother, scout leader, and in the church. My wife, Jo Ann is
a Paraprofessional at East Antioch Elementary School and is my
co-laborer in Christ. We have been blessed with two children. Our
daughter Jennifer is in college at Wichita State University, our son
Jeremiah is at Johnson County Community College (as is my wife), and I
am taking classes at Midwestern Baptist College.
I love to spend time with my wife and kids, hang out with teens and
read. My favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7. |
