| FBC has been my church home since my parents moved to Shawnee from Mt. Morris,
IL in 1950. I was baptized at FBC in 1951, and I have worked in the Church Office since January 1, 1976. FBC also has a special place in my heart, I met my husband, Phil Seaton,
at FBC when the Lord led his family to attend church here 1962. Phil serves at FBC
as custodian and has been the church pianist for about 38 years.
We were married at FBC thirty-seven years ago June 2001 and have three beautiful girls. One daughter lives in Houston, TX, with her family (includes a granddaughter) and the other two and their families live in this area (with two grandsons and one more granddaughter).
My work in the Church Office has evolved considerably over the years--from typewriter to computer and now to a computer network. The things that have not changed, though, are my love for my work and the people I serve while at the same time serving my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. |
