Women's Missionary Union
Ruth and Rachel Sewing circles are open to any women who want to use their talents of sewing and crafting for ministry. These groups have several projects throughout the year; they support missionaries through prayer time and devotion and collection of an offering to provide financial support. The Rachel circle meets at 10 a.m. and the Ruth circle meets at 7 p.m., both on the second Tuesday of each month. For more information, call the church office.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
This ministry is dedicated to knitting and crocheting prayer shawls to be given to those in the hospital or who are seriously ill. The ladies take time to pray over each shawl as it is being made and pray specifically for each person receiving a shawl. If you have a talent for knitting or crocheting and would like to join this group, they meet the fourth Saturday of each month in the church library. For more information, contact the church office.
women's Prayer gROUP
This group has been dedicated to praying for our church, its staff and events; our country and its leaders; needs on our church prayer list and more each week for more than 28 years. This is a time for any and all women to come together and cover these needs in prayer. They meet at 10:30 a.m. every Friday for about an hour in the Heritage room. tAKE tIME oUT
Take Time Out is meant for women to take time out of their day to edify and encourage each other in Christ. The monthly agenda features music and a speaker as well as fun and fellowship through food and games. Take Time Out meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through May in Fellowship Hall. For more information contact the church office.
