Sunday School

Purpose Statement:
To provide age appropriate educational opportunities to teach clearly and accurately the facts and application of Scripture thus allowing individuals a means to respond by personal faith in Christ and to grow toward spiritual maturity.

At First Baptist Church, Sunday School is offered for every member of your family. We invite you to attend the class that most interests you and best fits your age/marital status. Sunday School is the most influential educational ministry next to preaching from the pulpit.

Children's Sunday School

Infant to Toddlers
Nursery:	Available during Sunday School and church for infants, from birth to two-year-olds.
Toddlers:	Available during Sunday School and church for all two-year-olds. Room 113 (located in the Nursery area).
Beginners I:	Available during Sunday School and church for all three-year-olds. Room 112 (located in the Nursery area).
Preschool through Elementary
Beginners II:	Four- and Five-year-olds. Rooms 114 & 115 (located in the Nursery area).
Kindergarten:	Five- and Six-year-olds. Room 107
Primary Department:	Grades 1-2 Room 106
Junior Department:	Grades 3-6 meet together for a combined opening in room 103 beginning September 10 and then break as follows: Girls Room 108 Boys Room 105

youth Sunday school

Grades 7-12:

Individual graded classes meet upstairs after combined opening. Located in The Passage (main floor of North Building).

Adult Sunday school

College/Career
Age:	Single Adults, 18-25 years
Location:	Epp Hall (lower level of North Building, north side).
Positive Christian Singles Class
Age:	Single Adults, 26 to 40 years and up. This class consists of single adults previously married, widowed, or never married.
Teacher:	Jim Conard, Assistant Pastor
Location:	Room 13 (lower level of West Building next to Gym on west side).
Seekers Class
Age:	Adults, young married couples, 20 to 30+ years. This class is for young married couples with no kids or just starting their families.
Location:	Room 15 (lower level of West Building next to Gym on east side).
Cornerstone Class
Age:	Adults, 30 to 40+ years old. This class consists mostly of married couples with children in grade school.
Location:	Room 23D & E (Fellowship Hall).
New Life Class
Age:	40 to 55 years old. This class consists mostly of adults with middle school through college age children.
Teacher:	Jack Wood
Location:	Room 12 (lower level West Building on west side).
Crusader Class
Age:	Adults, 50-years-old & up. This class consists mostly of empty nesters.
Teacher:	Fred Loskamp
Location:	Rooms 23A,B,C (Fellowship Hall).
Beacon Class
Age:	Adults, 60-years-old & up. This class consists of retired and older working adults.
Location:	Room 11 (lower level of West Building).
Tuxis Class
Age:	Adults, 65-years-old & up. This class consists of senior citizens.
Location:	Room 16 (lower level of West Building, directly across from the elevator).
