I am glad to share that we are within inches of the funds goal we had to begin the process of digging the well in Bakatade, Uganda! The villagers do not know this is coming, but they will soon. They may suspect something is up because a well engineer has been poking around the community in preparation (see photo). Our pastor-friend in Uganda, Ishak, will be overseeing the process. He has done this kind of thing before. 

This is an awesome thing we as a church have been privileged to do together. It is hope for children. It is an act of love for brothers and sisters (Bakatade is a largely Christian village). It is obedience to Jesus’ example.
